LGBTQ Character in Disney’s Animated Movie “Onward”

The one-eyed police officer in Disney’s new animated movie “Onward” was portrayed as an LGBTQ character.

The new animated movie “Onward” will be watching an openly gay character voiced by actress Lena Waithe. One-eyed purple character, a police officer.

While Lena voiced an LGBTQ character for the first time, Disney previously featured gay characters. In the 2019 Star Wars: Rise of the Skywalker (Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker), the kissing of two same-sex soldiers and the painting of the gay character LeFou in the 2017 film Beauty and the Beast made a sound.
