This series is based on the famous online Thai BL novel "LOVE SICK : The Chaotic Lives of Blue Shorts Guys" by INDRYTIMES, which follows two 17 years old high school boys who eventually fall in love after a deal brought them closer together. Phun has a girlfriend (Aim) but his father wants him to date his friend's daughter. Phun's little sister, Pang, is obsessed with YAOI. Phun needs to convince Pang that he has a boyfriend so that she can help talk their father around the idea of dating his friend's daughter. So he asked Noh to become his fake boyfriend in exchange for helping Noh raising fund for his Music Club. Although the major storyline here is about Phun & Noh, the series also deals with eclectic teen's issues such as peer pressure, rich vs poor, rivalry, relationships, gangsterism etc. Sounds similar to Hormones The Series? Nope, not entirely. Love Sick The Series has its own charm & strong points.

The first season aired on July 6, 2014 in Thailand and ended on September 21, 2014. In 2015, the second season was ordered to air, consisting of 12 episodes of the first season and 36 episodes. In April 2019, the main characters, Noh (Captain Chonlathorn) and Phun (Nawat Phumphothingam), appeared in the 3-episode miniseries Reminders.

Love Sick Synopsis

Phun has a girlfriend, but his father wants him to date his friend’s daughter. Phun’s younger sister, Pang, is obsessed with men’s love. Phun’s father doesn’t listen much to Phun, but he loves his younger sister Pang. So Phun must convince Pang that he has a boyfriend so that his dad can help his friend give up the idea of dating his daughter. Noh needs a higher school budget for his school club or he will be in big trouble.

Knowing she can help Noh with her problem, Phun decides to ask Noh to be her fake boyfriend in exchange for helping Noh raise money for the Music Club. However, after the deal brought them closer together, the two 17-year-old high school boys eventually fell in love.
