Toss Up (Turkish: Yazı Tura) is a 2004 Turkish drama film produced, written and directed by Uğur Yücel, starring Kenan İmirzalıoğlu and Olgun Şimşek as two soldiers returning home from their disabled military service in southeastern Turkey. The film, which was released all over Turkey on September 24, 2004, broke the record with 11 awards, including the Golden Orange for Best Film, at the 41st Antalya “Golden Orange” International Film Festival.

Toss Up Synopsis

Two disabled soldiers in southeast Turkey are returning home from military service. Cevher (nicknamed “Ghost”) lost his hearing, and Rıdvan (nicknamed “Satan”) a leg. Both are emotionally and physically scarred and have trouble adjusting to normal civilian life.
