Kokoy de Santos Biography

Ronald Marquez de Santos Jr. (born May 15, 1998) known as Kokoy de Santos, is a Filipino actor, dancer, and singer. He was born in Pasig City, Philippines. His movie “Fuccbois” was an official entry to the 15th Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival that gave him a break into acting.

He finished Culinary Arts Course at Chef Logro’s Institute of Culinary and Kitchen Services, Cavite, Philippines. After some minor and uncredited appearances in some films and series, Kokoy was introduced in the movie “Tumbang Preso”/”In The Can” (2014). He also auditioned for the singing competition “Pinoy Boyband Superstar” (2016). Together with Royce Cabrera, he played his first lead role in the movie “Fuccbois” (2019) directed by Eduardo Roy Jr.

In May 2020, he was cast as one of the main actors in the YouTube series, Gameboys. Produced by The IdeaFirst Company, it is a boys love (BL) series in the Philippines that tackles the story of two young boys who found each other online amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. He plays the role of Gavreel Alarcon alongside Elijah Canlas who plays the role of Cairo Lazaro, a famous online game streamer, in this thirteen-part web series.
