Definition of Love is very easy: JUST LOVE! You don’t need to think of other details. We can feel different kinds of love for all things such as humans, animals, sea, air, etc. We must live the love we feel is not taught to us. they taught us that a healthy relationship is between men and women. Is it correct? If it is correct, Who decided that? or Who placed this idea in our minds. I tell you, our neighbors, our family, our friends, our ancestors. We have to enjoy our unique life, not to live the life imposed on us.

You can’t decide who you’re gonna fall in love with. For this reason, if your heart beats for someone, follow your love. I hope, you can find a response to your love.

Call Me by Your Name is a dramatic love movie directed by Luca Guadagnino in 2017. The screenplay was adapted by James Ivory from André Aciman’s novel of the same name in 2007.

A small town in the north of Italy in the summer in 1983. 17-year-old Elio Perlman (Timothée Chalamet) lives in the villa with his family. He is flirting with Marzia (Esther Garrel) who is a sweet girl. 24-year-old Oliver (Armie Hammer), who came to Italy to help professor, father of Elio, is unaware that his life will be unforgettable.

I want to share with you the conversations that impressed me a lot in the movie. Father talks to his son about his feelings.

You two had a nice friendship.
Yeah.
You’re too smart not to know how rare, how special what you two had was.
Oliver was Oliver.
Because it was him. Because it was me.
Oliver may be very intelligent but…
He was more than intelligent.
What you two had,
had everything and nothing to do with intelligence.
He was good.
You’re both lucky to have found each other
because you, too, are good…
I think he was better than…
I think he was better than me.
I’m sure he’d say the same thing about you.
Yeah. He’d say the same thing.
It flatters you both.
And when you least expect it,
nature has cunning ways of finding our weakest spot.
Just remember, I am here.
Right now,
you may not wanna feel anything,
maybe you never wanted to feel anything.
And maybe it’s not to me
you’d want to speak about these things
but feel something you obviously did.
Look, you had a beautiful friendship.
Maybe more than a friendship.
And I envy you.
In my place, most parents would hope the whole thing goes away.
Pray for their sons land on their feet,
but I am not such a parent.
We rip out so much of ourselves to be cured of things faster,
that we go bankrupt by the age of 30.
And have less to offer, each time we start with someone new.
But to make yourself feel nothing
so as not to feel anything.
What a waste.
Have I spoken out of turn?
And I’ll say one more thing,
it’ll clear the air.
I may have come close
but I never had what you two have.
Something always held me back
or stood in the way.
How you live your life is your business.
Just remember,
our hearts and our bodies are given to us only once, and before you know it, your heart’s worn out.
And as for your body,
there comes a point when no one looks at it
much less wants to come near it.
Right now, there’s sorrow, pain.
Don’t kill it,
and with it, the joy you felt.
If you feel anything about love, don’t kill it, even If it gives you pain. Perhaps you will never feel this beautiful feeling again.
