Overview
Nagisa is 17 years old and attends 2nd grade in high school. He is apart from his parents and lives alone in the seaside town of Fujisawa in Kanagawa. He is passionate about surfing and works at a bathhouse in a hostel on the island Enoshima linked to Fujisawa. Shun is the same age as Nagisa and visits Fujisawa for spring break. They meet and develop a relationship more than friendship. However, the surfing equipment store owner’s daughter Chika has been secretly in love with Nagisa.

The life of Nagisa Hibino (Yuki Kura) is indeed not that different from countless children on her own and lives alone in the seaside town of Fujisawa. Nagisa, a seventeen-year-old student in the second grade of high school, loves surfing and makes a living by working in a hostel on the nearby island of Enoshima. Perfectly satisfied with her life, the only thing Nagisa really lacks is a good friend, but even this problem feels like he found a quick solution the day he met Shun Igawa (Naoya Kusakawa).
While visiting Fujisawa for spring break, Shun’s love for surfing soon brings him and Nagisa together. The two, who spend their free time both in the water and in the sea, soon develop a strong friendship, which eventually deepens. Realizing their growing feelings for each other, Children are not quite sure where things should go from here. Do they keep their feelings secret? Are they confessing? Life gets more complicated for the two of them when the surf shop owner Chika Kumakiri (Sara Shida), struggling to find her own answers, confesses to her feelings for Nagisa.
Not sure where things need to go from here, Nagisa and Shun slowly begin to realize that, above all, their relationship is truly special. Will their love be insurmountable, or will they have no boundaries in front of them?
