It has been aired by One 31 since 2018 as the prequel of the Friend Zone Series.

Directed by Tidakorn Pookaothong and produced by GMMTV in conjunction with Trasher Bangkok, the series was one of the ten television series in 2018 that was showcased by GMMTV at the “Series X” event on February 1, 2018. It premiered on One31 and LINE TV on November 11, 2018. It airs on Sundays at 22:00 ICT and 23:00 ICT, respectively. The series ended on February 2, 2019.

On April 20, 2020, the series was rerun on GMM 25 on Mondays and Tuesdays at 10:45 PM ICT.

The series which is about more than one person, relationship and life consists of 12 episodes, each lasting an average of 50 minutes.

The sequel of Friend Zone Series, Friend Zone 2: Dangerous Area which is about the story of close friends Boyo, Boom, Earth, and Stud and the drama of uncertain love aired on Friday 25th September 2020 on GMM25.

Friend Zone Synopsis

Boyo’s life changed dramatically when her boyfriend wanted to break up. She was also unemployed because of his friend Stud, who brought foreigners into her ​home. Boyo and Boom decided to fire Stud and look for a new person to stay with them. Boyo eventually took a referral from Amm and Bern, who was Good, a freelance artist.

Good decided to stay with them and a lot of things happened between Boyo and Good, but they decided to be friends. Meanwhile, Boom, a beautiful woman, has a problem with her boyfriend Tor, who doesn’t want to recognize him as a boyfriend because he thinks Tor Boom is very beautiful and is accused of being a naughty woman.

Amm and Bern have been lovers for a long time. They bought an apartment for their future. But Amm isn’t entirely sure Bern is ready for their future. This causes Amm and Bern to fight and break up. Amm tells Bern to leave the apartment, but Bern doesn’t want that. In the end, they decide to stay in a room until one of them can’t stand the situation and leaves the apartment.

Kicked out by Boom and Boyo, Stud eventually stays with his friend Earth, an office worker with a perfect life. Earth lives with his boyfriend, a young doctor named Sam.Although Earth and Sam love each other, there are definitely issues they face. Stud always listens to them and gives advice to both.
